// 04 — About

Founded by an entrepreneur with deep roots in criminal justice and technology, Prometheus combines industry expertise with innovative solutions to give African states an advantage in defense intelligence.

// Why we exist

Built for sovereignty. Engineered for the threat.

Prometheus exists because the platforms African intelligence services depend on were built for a different continent, a different adversary, and a different doctrine. We are not retrofitting foreign tooling for African operators. We are building the platform from first principles — sovereign by architecture, calibrated for the threat environment, and answerable to the states it serves. We launch in Nigeria.

Our founding belief: sovereign capability is not bought. It is built — one institution at a time, by people who answer to the continent, not to a foreign quarterly earnings call.

Wilkinson Egwu

FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

A serial entrepreneur with a passion for justice, Wilkinson brings the vision and the operating discipline behind Prometheus. A 3× founder with a patent to his name, he is an operator who has spent his career turning ambitious ideas into working institutions — and is now applying that same discipline to one of the most important problems of his generation: Africa's sovereign intelligence capability, beginning with Nigeria.

He studied at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City — the United States' premier institution for law-enforcement and criminal-justice education and the training ground for generations of federal, state, and municipal security leadership. That academic foundation, paired with a builder's instinct for shipping, uniquely positions him to do something rare: bridge the gap between technology and state defense, between the operator's reality and the platform that actually serves it.

He founded Prometheus to give African states a sovereign intelligence platform on terms set on the continent — not in Washington, London, or Beijing. The platform launches with the Federal Republic of Nigeria and scales across ECOWAS and the African Union.

Sovereign focus
// What we believe

Four principles guide every line of code.

These are not aspirations. They are the constraints we build inside — the questions every product decision is tested against before it ships.
SOVEREIGNTY FIRST

Sensitive workflows belong on sovereign infrastructure. Every architectural decision starts here — not as a marketing posture, but as a non-negotiable engineering constraint.

CALIBRATED FOR THE THREAT

We engineer for the adversaries African states actually face: irregular networks, multi-lingual signals, kinship-based command, and operations conducted on degraded infrastructure.

ACCOUNTABILITY BY DESIGN

Every query is audit-logged. Every access is constrained by clearance. Constitutional discipline is encoded into the platform — not bolted on as policy.

HUMAN-IN-THE-LOOP

AI augments analysts; it does not replace them. The platform refuses speculation, demands source material, and treats every output as a draft for human review.
